Performance
The new Cadillac XT5 offers more than enough oomph for keep up with traffic in the city. Two muscular gas engines are available, including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 235 horsepower and a 3.6-liter V6 generating 310 horsepower.
The new Lexus RX only offers one gas engine - a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 275 horsepower. Other options are available, but they are hybrid powertrains.
Technology

Interior and Exterior
The new XT5 embodies timeless Cadillac styling cues with its wide grille, angular headlights, and sloping lines. Inside, the XT5 swaddles you in comfort with supportive seats offering plenty of head- and legroom. Backseat riders enjoy up to 39.0 inches of space to rest their legs. You can fold the rear seats down for 63 cubic feet of cargo space.
The new Lexus RX also has a sporty, angular exterior, but it's not as spacious inside as the Cadillac XT5. Rear-seat riders only get 37.4 inches of legroom, and there's only 46.2 cubic feet of storage space with the back seats folded.
